The Tuition Reimbursement Program was not recommended for funding this year.
The group discussed computer assessment instrument.
Tim said survey should have some open ended questions. Built around
applications. Questions can be lumped to more general categories.
Consolidate questions--general computer skills.
Combine spread sheet, data base, word processing, a-mail modems, Internet
Survey should identify users by department, job title.
Goal is to assess City employee and then raise all employees skill levels.
Focus funding in most efficient manner.
Give to Chris to edit.
Test this instrument in Housing.
Break into applications with initial survey, follow-up with more detailed survey.
Tim said Karen and he will rework smaller survey by application.
