SUBJECT: Resolution Permit Fee Increase Re-submittal

On March 7, 2016, the City Council approved Resolution No. 84-16 providing for a 10%
increase in Permit Fees for the Building Services Department. It has been discovered
that some of the tables were lacking information or contained errors.
Building Services Manager Todd Carr recommends rescission of Resolution No. 84-16
and approval of a new resolution correcting the errors.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

Introduction: The Resolution NO. 84-16 Permit Fee Increases was submitted to City
Council on March 7th, 2016 for approval in regards to our 10% increase in Permit Fees.
Upon review of this approved resolution I found tables lacking fee information, and
calculation errors in regards to the 10% increase. The new attached Resolution upon
your approval will need to be submitted to City Council for approval.
Discussion: I have attached the original Resolution NO. 84-16 Permit Fee increases
with highlighted sections in red ink where the errors occurred with the price corrections.
The new Resolution rescinding Resolution NO 84-16 has been submitted with this
Memo with all the corrections being made to display the proper fee schedule per
category.
Action Step: I respectfully recommend approval of this new Resolution that is attached
to correct the errors which were made in Resolution NO. 84-16.
