Panel Objective: Demonstrate that while much attention is paid to drought and flood consequences much can be done at the State, city, and local levels to build resilience to these extremes. By narrowing the amplitude of water extremes communities can have fewer disruptions and more reliable use and access to clean water. Discussing this at the national, State, city, and local levels; participants will gain insights into the noteworthy practices (e.g. innovation, integrated planning, capacity building, infrastructure investment/prioritization) for how to build resilience across the country to water extremes.
