Dear Mayor and City Council Members:
The City of Dubuque Historic Preservation Commission is pleased to transmit for your
consideration, information on a Historic Tax Credits Workshop on Tuesday May 24,
2016 from 6:00 — 8:00 PM at Inspire Cafe, 955 Washington Street, Suite 105, in the
Historic Millwork District.
The Commission is hosting guest speaker Steve Wilke-Shapiro, a historic preservation
advocate, historic tax credits consultant, and rehabilitation design professional. He will
be sharing his knowledge and experience with how to access Iowa's Historic tax credit
program. Enclosed are the flyers with information about the event.
The Historic Preservation Commission invites the City Council to attend the Historic Tax
Credit Workshop, and to help spread the word about his event.
