Personnel Manager Randy Peck is recommending effective July 1, 2016 through June
301 2017, the wage plans in effect on June 30, 2016 for general employee
classifications and non-assigned classifications be increased by 2.5% across the board
by adoption of the Resolution. The compensation package is consistent with the
compensation package to be received by bargaining unit employees.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

I recommend that effective July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, the wage plans in effect
on June 30, 2016 for general employee classifications and non-assigned classifications
be increased by 2.5% across the board. The compensation package is consistent with
the compensation package to be received by bargaining unit employees. In order to
implement the recommendation, I request the attached Resolution be adopted.

APPROVING THE COMPENSATION PACKAGE FOR NON -BARGAINING UNIT
EMPLOYEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017
Whereas, the City Manager has recommended the compensation package for Non -
bargaining Unit Employees for Fiscal Year 2017;
Whereas, the recommended compensation package for Non -bargaining Unit
employees is consistent with the compensation package to be received by Bargaining Unit
employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DUBUQUE, IOWA:
Section 1. That the compensation package for Non -bargaining Unit employees for
Fiscal Year 2017 is hereby approved.
