SUBJECT: Timber-Hyrst Estates #4 North and South Line Creek Crossings

Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the Timber-Hyrst
Estates #4 North and South Line Creek Crossings Project was awarded on April 29,
2016, to Gansen Excavating, Inc., in the amount of $139,457.00.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the Timber-Hyrst Estates
#4 North and South Line Creek Crossings Project be officially recorded in the minutes of
the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

SUBJECT: Timber-Hyrst Estates #4 North and South Line Creek Crossings
The Timber-Hyrst Estates#4 Sanitary Sewer North and South Line Creek Crossings
Project include the installation of inverted siphons which cross beneath the South Fork
Catfish Creek at two locations. The siphons will connect an 18" interceptor sewer to the
Timber-Hyrst Estates phase #4 sanitary sewer lines.
The following is a summary for the North and South Line Creek Crossing project as
follows:

Connolly Construction, Inc. $ 199,990.25
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on April 29, 2016 to Gansen Excavating, Inc. of Dubuque, Iowa, in the amount of
$139,457.00.
This portion of the funding will be funded as follows:
