DATE: August 24, 2016
Due to a retirement, there is a vacancy in an Equipment Operator II position at the
Landfill. Personnel Manager Randy Peck recommends City Council approval to create
one additional Landfill Equipment Operator position and eliminate one Equipment
Operator II position in the Public Works Department. These positions are paid at the
same rate.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

Landfill. The Equipment Operator II position is being replaced with a Landfill Equipment
Operator position. These positions are paid at the same rate. I request that the City
Council approve a motion creating one additional Landfill Equipment Operator position
and eliminating one Equipment Operator II position in the Public Works Department.
