Re: Claim Against the City for Vehicle Damage
Dear Mayor Terrance M. Duggan:
I hereby apppeal the denial of access regarding my request, which was made on March 6,
2002 and sent to the Members of the City Council.
The records that were denied inclurle: The street collapsed when I parked the vehicle on
966 Rush Street this caused the right front wheel to drop through the pavement the street
was undermining when the car was parked. This caused damage to the subframe. Also,
the time I lost from work that included three and half hours.
I would like to have the vehicle fixed because due to this problem the vehicle is unable to
drive. I also, feel this is not no fault of mine and that the city should be responsible
the damages that occur on the vehicle,
if records are derfied on appeal, please explain the reasons for denial fully, in writing.
And explain what other actions I can take at this point. Thank you for your time.
