INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this memo is to request Mayor and City Council approval of the
temporary transfer of the Rotary Club of Dubuque liquor license #BW0092633.
DISCUSSION
The Rotary Club of Dubuque is requesting a temporary transfer of their liquor license to
allow them to serve spirits at a musical event being held at Steeple Square, 1584 White

Since the temporary transfer of a liquor license requires City Council approval and no
regular City Council meeting prior to the event, approval is requested at the City
Council's special meeting of October 27, 2016.
RECOMMENDATION
I respectfully request City Council approval of the temporary transfer of the Rotary Club
of Dubuque liquor license #BW0092633 from 135 W. 8th Street to 1584 White Street on
