RE: HD Upgrade Presentation to City Council
INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this memorandum is to request to make a presentation to City Council at their
November 7, 2016, meeting to show the capabilities of the new video production facilities that
will be used to produce City Council meetings.
BACKGROUND
On October 18, 2016, work began to upgrade the video production facilities at the Historic
Federal Building to enable us to produce City Council meetings and other events in the Council
Chambers in high definition (HD). This upgrade should be complete by week's end.
I would like to request a few minutes at the November 7 meeting to show the Council some of
the new equipment and capabilities this upgrade gives us. This presentation should not take
more than five minutes and will include live video from the Council Chambers and Media Room
RECOMMENDED ACTION
I respectfully request your approval to make the presentation outlined above at the City Council
meeting on November 7.
