The Dubuque City Council met in special session at 5:30 p.m. on November 3, 2016
in City Hall, Conference Room A, 50 W. 13th Street.
Present: Mayor Buol; Council Members Del Toro, Jones, Lynch, Resnick, Rios; City
Manager Van Milligen, City Attorney Brumwell
Absent: Council Member Connors
Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council called
for the purpose of conducting a closed session on pending litigation and real estate
transfer negotiations pursuant to Chapter 21.5(1)(c), -(j) of the Iowa Code
CLOSED SESSION
Pending Litigation and Real Estate Transfer Negotiations
Iowa Code Chapter 21.5(1)(c), -(j)
Motion by Jones to convene in closed session at 6:01 p.m. to discuss pending
litigation and real estate transfer negotiations pursuant to Chapter 21.5(1)(c), -(j) of the
Iowa Code. Seconded by Resnick. Motion carried 6-0.
Upon motion at 6:33 p.m., the City Council reconvened in open session stating that
staff had been given proper direction.
There being no further business, upon motion the City Council adjourned at 6:33
p.m.
