SUBJECT: Request to Eliminate Three Truck Driver Positions and Create Three
Utility Worker Positions
DATE: November 9, 2016
On July 18, 2016 the City Council approved retitling the position of Truck Driver to Utility
Worker. There is no change in the rate of pay. There will be three vacant Truck Driver
positions. Personnel Manager Randy Peck requests the City Council approve a motion
creating three Utility Worker positions and eliminating three Truck Driver positions.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.
