NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above identified governmental body will meet at the
time, date and place as set forth above.

2017 Legislative Priorities
Discussion of the 2017 Legislative Priorities with Area Legislators, Dubuque City
Council, Dubuque County Board of Supervisors, Dubuque Community School
Board and Holy Family Catholic School System.
No action will be taken by the City Council.
This notice is given pursuant to Chapter 21, Code of Iowa, and applicable local regulations
of the City of Dubuque, Iowa, and/or governmental body holding the meeting.

Annual Legislative Dinner Invitation
Tuesday, November 29, 2016, 5:30 pm-8:OOpm
Grand River Center ^' River Room
You are invited to attend the City of Dubuque's annual Legislative Dinner. This annual
event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29th, at the Grand
River Center River Room. Cocktail reception will begin at 5:30 PM with the dinner and
program beginning at 6:00 PM.
The evening dinner and the discussion that follows will provide an opportunity for
communicating goals and objectives for the 2017 State legislative session. Mayor Roy Buol
and the Dubuque City Council will be joined by Dubuque area State Senators and State
Representatives, and representatives from Dubuque County, the Dubuque Community
School District, Holy Family School District, Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce, Greater
Dubuque Development Corporation, East Central Intergovernmental Association and the
Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque. This annual event provides a unique
opportunity for area partners to share information about state legislative priorities and
receive feedback from our state elected officials.
To comply with the Iowa Gift Law, dinner will be available at your own expense. The City
Manager's Office will arrange for billing, and those who confirm their attendance will be
billed following the dinner.
