MINUTES Commissioner Parks motioned and Commissioner Bakke seconded to approve the
APPROVED; minutes of the September 26, 2016meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
VOTE:
NEW BUSINESS: Marie Ware reported a new Commissioner Applicant, Nick Huff, spoke at November
21 , 2016 city council meeting. Council will vote to appoint him at ecember 5, 2016
meeting
OLD BUSINESS: Director of Finance, Don Howes, reported the Theater tuck-pointing was on track and
would be addressed In spring 201].
Mare Ware confirmed tuck pointing Is scheduled for spring 2017 and then discussed
the feasibility study. RFP has been approved by committee, and will be presented to
city council at ecember 5, 2016 meeting for approval. Timeline of the RFP would
have all information bad:from consultants by mid July 2017
MARKETING Event Manager Ali Levasseur, reported that Marketing coordinator, Kelly Spreitzer, Is
PROMTIONSS, officially out on maternity leave.
EVENTS REPORT: Levasseur reported on past months marketing initiatives and highlights. Printed
copies of the reportwere included In the commission packet
Levasseur discussed the new website dropped on November 14, 2016 and
encouraged commission to review the new set up.
OPERATIONS Director of Events and Operations, Shaun Rice, reported on operations activities for
REPORT: the past months In the areas of Safety Commitee meetings; routine maintenance;
technical operations; and OF activity. Printed copies were included with the
commission packet
STAFF Levasseur discussed newlntedm Marketing Coordinator, Julie Griffin had been In the
DEVELOPMENT office a fewweeks.

FINANCIAL Director of Finance, Don Howes, reviewed event totals and Financial highlightswitlh

OTHER BUSINESS: Commissioner Bakke stated that he had seen a lot of teamwork from Five Flags Staff
in the last year and suggested staff keep it up.
ADJURN; Motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Bakke, seconded by Commissioner
VOTE: Parks. The motion passed unanimously.
NEXT MEETING: Next bi-monthly meeting held in the General Manager's Office on MondayJanuary
30, 2017 at 3:30PM. Five Flags staff will place an email"Thursday before"to remind
commissioners of the meeting.
